Exchange your inefficient incandescent bulbs for new, efficient LED bulbs!
Come to one of HCED’s six different bulb swaps in August with your incandescent bulb and exchange it for a brand new, efficient LED bulb! We will exchange one new 60-watt equivalent LED bulb for each working incandescent bulb you bring (limit four bulbs per household). No fluorescent or halogen bulbs, please! Exchanging your old inefficient lights for new efficient ones is a great way to start the school year! LED bulbs are as much as 80% more efficient than incandescent bulbs, and LED bulbs last much longer!

August 10th
- Elma Locker & Grocery (8am – 10am)
- Protivin City Hall (9am – 11am)
- Ruppert’s Ace Hardware in Cresco (9am – 11am)
August 17th
- Riceville True Value (1pm – 3pm)
- Brown Park in Lime Springs (10am – noon)
- Fisk Farm & Home in Cresco (9am – 11am)
