Green Iowa AmeriCorps Fundraiser
The Green Iowa AmeriCorps (GIA) first step home energy assessment program has helped over 1000 homes in northeast Iowa become more energy efficient, saving the average homeowner over $120 on utility bills annually! The program serves households in Howard, Winneshiek, Allamakee, Fayette, Clayton, and Chickasaw counties. Given the wide area they serve, GIA needs a reliable vehicle to transport their team to and from households. The Howard County Energy District is encouraging its supporters to donate to GIA’s fundraising campaign for a reliable vehicle so they can continue to serve residents in Howard County.
